Chicken Basil Pasta
  • 2 chicken breasts, cubed

  • ~10 oz whole grain pasta or 4 c. cooked whole grain pasta

  • 1 tsp. lemon juice

  • 2 T. extra virgin olive oil (EVOO)

  • 1 1/2 tsp. dried basil

  • 1 tsp dried parsley

  • 1/4 tsp. garlic powder

  • 1/4 c. parmesan cheese 

 
Directions: 
1) Prepare pasta as directed.  Spray cooking spray on medium skillet.  Fully cook cubed chicken over medium heat. 
2) Combine cooked pasta, cooked cubes of chicken, lemon juice, EVOO, basil, parsley, garlic powder, and parmesan cheese in a large bowl.
Serve immediately.
